Brits struggle with death – but is a national day of remembrance really the answer?

For the Malagasy people of Madagascar, no family reunion is complete without the dead. The “Famadihana” feast, or the “turning of the bones”, is the marker of major anniversaries of death; it is also the one family festival guaranteed to draw migrant workers and married daughters home for a visit.
